The Hogade Group of Textiles has been rooted in fabric-making since 1960. In those early years, the family's manufacturing was known under the brand Harihar Saree Works — a name that became synonymous with quality dyed sarees across Maharashtra, and especially celebrated throughout the state's western region. Production ran entirely on fully mechanical handlooms, operating without electricity, paired with traditional, conventional yarn-dyeing methods of the time.

Over the decades that followed, the business steadily modernised — moving from handlooms to power looms, then to automatic looms, and today to advanced shuttle-less Rapier weaving technology capable of export-grade fabric. The group now operates 31 Rapier machines and 16 automatic looms, together producing 2 lakh metres of fabric in-house every month, with a further 5 lakh metres sourced through trusted outsourcing partners.

As global markets evolved and quality expectations rose, we recognised the need to keep pace — adapting our technology, business practices and quality benchmarks in step with a fast-changing industry. That willingness to evolve, without losing sight of the craftsmanship the Hogade name was built on, remains at the heart of how Lotus Texcom India LLP operates today.
